RECYCLING
METALS
We recycle all metals from aluminium to zirconium, in all forms including but not limited to solids, offcuts, wire, swarf, cans, whiteware, batteries and e-waste.

This is a premium grade of heavy steel. Pre-cut to within 1 metre lengths, ready for export. E.g. RSJ offcuts, steel wheel rims, brake rotors.
Heavy steel over the 1 metre requirement for In-size and thicker than 18mm meaning gas must be used to process for export. E.g. rail track, large counter weights, large machinery.
Heavy steel over the 1 metre required for In-size and less that 18mm thickness, able to be cut using our hydraulic shear. E.g. I-beam, RSJ, structural steel, some machinery.
Also known as black/blue steel from new production plate.
Also known as "dirty light gauge" describes steel items with non-metallic attachments requiring the using of a shredder to extract the steel content. E.g. car panels, old BBQ, light machinery, whiteware.
Steel less that 3mm thickness. E.g. roofing iron, ducting, spouting, empty drums.
Reinforcing rod and wire.
Turnings/swarf from machining steel.
Mixed metal where material is ferrous, usually aluminium but includes fixtures and fittings of other materials.
Cones and jaw plates from quarry industry.
Stripped or whole.
Steel
Domestic aluminium products with minimal contamination, painted or anodised.
Aluminium lithographic plates are very thin aluminium plates that have been used in the printing industry.
Clean/bare aluminium wire or cable.
Extruded aluminium, free from contamination such as plastic, rivets, screws etc.
Aluminium clip is produced from manufacturing off-cuts and is free from contamination from other materials. Cannot be painted or anodised.
Aluminium products manufactured though casting process.
Aluminium mag from vehicles.
Aluminium radiators with plastic or steel tanks & frames removed. Both the fins and tubes are made of aluminium.
Used beverage cans (UBC).
Aluminium cable with PVC coating.
Aluminium cable with steel reinforcing.
Aluminium turnings/swarf from machining aluminium. Must be free from other metal swarf.
Mixed metal is where the material is non-ferrous, usually aluminium but includes fixtures and fittings of other material.
Aluminium
Mixed brass is typically collected from plumbing fittings such as common water taps, gas fittings, mechanical bearings, and small brass statues.
New production brass clip and brass shells free from contamination.
Brass swarf is the waste material produced in the machining of brass components.
Dirty brass refers to mixed brass with non-brass attachments which require processing prior to export.
Brass
Copper no.1 is clean copper, usually as flat bar, pipe off cuts.
Stripped copper cable. Bright and shinny, free from contaminants.
Copper no. 2 is usually bare copper with paint or corrosion.
Copper with contaminants such as welds, brass fittings.
Turnings/swarf from machining copper components.
Copper hot water cylinder complete with steel casing and insulation.
Radiators with both fins and tubes made of copper. All steel or other material must be removed.
Radiators with aluminium fins and copper tubes. Free of steel or plastics.
Copper cable with PVC (plastic) coating. Prices vary based on copper content.
Car loom wiring.
Copper cable with PVC and steel coating. Percentage varies.

Motors
Solid pieces of 304 stainless steel. Free of contamination from other materials. Must be non-magnetic.
Large equipment requiring cutting/ processing.
Solid pieces of 316 stainless steel. Commonly used in marine industry. Free of contamination from other materials. Must be non-magnetic.
Turnings/swarf from machining stainless steel components. Can vary in alloy type.
